Virgin River just released its eagerly awaited fourth season, but fans are already clamoring for a return for Season 5.
Based on the Virgin River books by Robyn Carr, Virgin River is a Reel World Management-produced American romantic drama streaming television series that was shot in British Columbia, Canada. On July 20, 2022, the Netflix fourth season made its debut.
In the first season of the Netflix series, Mel Monroe, played by Alexandra Breckenridge, relocated from Los Angeles to the Virgin River as a result of the death of her husband.
Since moving to the little town, Mel has discovered that what she initially believed to be a peaceful, lovely spot to have a family is actually a place with plenty of secrets.
There has been romance, friendship, drama, and danger throughout the first four episodes, and after Season 4 ended with a lot of cliffhangers, viewers are eager for the show to return with resolutions.
Is Virgin River Season 5 not coming to Netflix in 2022?
The fifth season of Virgin River won’t be released on Netflix this year, we can assure readers as of July 25, 2022. The show was renewed for a fourth and fifth season in September 2021. Since then, people have become increasingly curious as neither Netflix nor the show’s official social media accounts have made the release date of the series official.
Virgin River Season 5 is therefore not expected to be released on Netflix until 2023. But if we had to guess, we’d think the fifth season will premiere in July 2230. The streaming services release these announcements on a schedule and take their time. Therefore, we advise people to wait as these are just rumors.

Has Virgin River season five been confirmed?
Definitely has! Virgin River’s third season was released in July 2021, and just two months later, Netflix announced the show will get a fourth and five seasons.
In a statement announcing the news, Netflix’s VP of original series Jinny Howe said: “[With] everything that’s been going on in the globe, people are increasingly yearning for not just that comfort but also that feeling of optimism and that feeling of community.
“I think this was more of a proof point that this is a really crucial area of programming for us,” said the speaker. “All of it really came together in a way that was really organic.”
What might happen in Virgin River season five?
Although it was revealed that Jack is the father of Mel’s unborn child rather than her deceased ex-husband Mark, viewers also learned that he is not the father of Charmaine’s twins. Who is, though?
As Preacher knocked Vince (played by Steve Bacic) out for threatening to kill Paige (Lexa Doig), viewers will also be interested to learn if the two will be held responsible for Wes’s death.
The NHS describes Huntington’s disease as “a condition that gradually prevents sections of the brain from functioning normally,” which is why Denny, Doc’s grandson, doesn’t want to see Lizzie’s future. This was also revealed in Season 4 of the show. But what does that imply for their season five characters?
