Two Pounds Of Marijuana Recovered During Traffic Check In Cupertino

The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office stated Wednesday on Facebook that they had recovered two pounds of marijuana and several stolen identification cards following a traffic stop. The IDs were taken in a car break-in that occurred not too long ago in Cupertino.

Authorities say they have issued criminal citations to the parents of three juvenile suspects for possession of marijuana with the motive of selling and controlling stolen items. An adult male passenger in the car was also detained and taken to San Jose Main Jail on similar accusations.

According to the report, the unnamed individual was also arrested for using a false identity and having an outstanding warrant. Furthermore, the individual was on probation with the county.

Owners of the stolen IDs have been reunited with their property.
