Spanish drama series Toy Boy (available on Netflix) centers on dancer Hugo Beltrán, who receives a fifteen-year prison sentence for his part in the murder of Macarena Medina’s husband. He has problems remembering what happened the night of the murder, though, when he is questioned by the police. After seven years, he will finally have his day in court o prove his innocence.
The work of the series’ creators C sar Bentez, Juan Carlos Cuetot, and Roco Martnez Llano has resulted in a global impact. The action show made its debut on Atresplayer Premium on September 8 and had its Spanish television debut on Antena 3 on September 25. After then, it made its Netflix debut on February 28th, 2020. It has produced two complete seasons thus far. For those of you who can’t wait to find out, here’s everything we know about a potential third season!
Toy Boy Season 3 Renewal Status
The second season of the Spanish action drama premiered on Netflix on February 11, 2022. But in September 2021, Atresplayer Premium in Spain hosted the series’ premiere. Toy Boy’s third season has not yet received an official renewal from the network or streaming service that first broadcast the show.
Season three will have enough of content because season two ended on such a cliffhanger. We are also aware of the popularity of Spanish-language shows on the service, like Elite and Money Heist. Fans should remain optimistic that the series will be available on the streaming service in light of this.
What is the storyline of Toy Boy?
After a crazy night of partying on a cruise ship, Hugo Beltrán (Jesus Mosquera) wakes up next to his ex-girlfriend’s burned remains. Along with the body of Macarena Medina’s (Cristina Castao) husband, the body of the man with whom he was having an affair is also found. Hugo has no recollection of what happened that night, but he believes he was wrongly charged and sentenced to fifteen years in prison after a botched trial.
Seven years later, Triana Marn (Mari Pedraza), a young lawyer, offers to represent him in a new trial where he might be able to establish his innocence. Despite his reservations, Hugo consents to be released with restrictions until a new trial. Hugo and Triana won’t be able to work together to unearth the intricate conspiracy that got Hugo into jail between his release from jail and the impending trial due to their disagreements. Hugo is a dangerous ex-con with a desire for vengeance and little regard for the safety of himself or anyone else.

Toy Boy Season 3 Plot
In the second season of Toy Boy, El Turco, who had enlisted Hugo for his illicit activities, threatened to kill him. Hugo and his friends start formulating escape plans for him as a result. However, the police are now actively looking for him. Hugo, however, turned himself in to the policeman. El Turco, on the other hand, tries to commit suicide while he is imprisoned. On the day of their wedding, Macarena misled El Turco’s men, who then shot her.
The third season of Toy Boy would take up where the second season abruptly ended on a cliffhanger. Before the viewer finds out what happened to Hugo, Andrea, who is on the run from El Turco and his soldiers, needs to find a safe haven. Jairo and the rest of the group might run into problems, though, with the new company that Ivn has started.
