Sushmita Sen (born 19 November 1975) is an Indian actress and model who won the 1994 Miss Universe pageant. She is the first Indian person to win Miss Universe. At the age of 18, she has crowned Femina Miss India in 1994.

Early Life and Education
Sushmita was born into the Bengali family of former Indian Air Force Wing Commander Shubeer Sen and fashion designer and jeweler Subhra Sen. She has two brothers and sisters: Rajeev and Neelam Sen. She was born at St. Theresa’s hospital in Hyderabad and reared in New Delhi. She planned to pursue a career in journalism after studying English at Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute. Multiple individuals have been romantically related to her. She adopted Renee as a single mother in the year 2000.
