Her inspiration for ’30 Minute Meals’ came to her while attempting to persuade customers who were hesitant to prepare their own meals to try it for the first time.

When she was working at the gourmet food market, she started live-teaching customers how to cook. A local news station then recognized her. So they persuaded her to give lessons onLive television, and then formulation of ’30 Minute Meals’ happened. Also, the publication of the book under the same name was done, and she received offers from Food Network and Today.
