People Are Cruel About Youtuber Dream’s Face Reveal

After three years of streaming anonymously on YouTube to 30 million fans, Minecraft player Dream finally showed his face.

On Sunday, 1.2 million fans watched the reveal live, and in 14 hours, 18 million people watched the video after a selfie tweet was shared more than 131,000 times, with at least 57,000 of those happening in the first three minutes.
The Dream has been for the past two weeks. Getting people interested on social media and slowly showed his face to other creators and collaborators, like Addison Rae and KSI, through video calls.

Fans had previously told BuzzFeed News that they were both “excited” and “nervous” to see Dream’s face. Twitter was full of reactions to the news.

Some people have been mean, like when they made fun of Dreams’ chin and said he looked like the disgraced YouTuber Shane Dawson. On Twitter, “Put the mask back on” was a famous phrase.
But Dream was also very thirsty. It started before people knew what he looked like. It’s just that now it’s more specific.

Amid all the talk on social media, Dream has also gotten a lot of online support from other creators, like MrBeast, who asked him to work with him.

Members of Dream SMP, a group of creators that Dream often streams with and includes TommyInnit and Quackity, can now hang out and make content together without worrying about accidentally revealing Dream’s identity.
The description of the face reveals video said, “GeorgeNotFound will soon upload a video of the first time we met, so be ready for that.”
