Roloff was arrested for DUI in 2003 when he swerved his automobile into a ditch. Those charges were dropped after he finished a treatment program for alcoholism. The Washington County sheriff’s deputy reported that Matt drove outside the travel lane after leaving a pub in 2007.

He was charged with DUI again. Roloff claimed that he was dropping someone off at a bar when he lost control of the car because it had been customised for him and Amy. The case against Matt, who had pleaded not guilty, was dismissed due to juror misconduct.
