A cruel and promiscuous Nazi prison camp commandant is the subject of the 1975 Canadian exploitation film Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS. Don Edmonds, an American filmmaker, is the film’s director, while David F. Friedman, of Montreal’s Cinépix Film Properties, is its producer. Dyanne Thorne plays the title character in the movie, which is partially based on Ilse Koch, the real-life wife of a commandant at the Buchenwald concentration camp.
