The universe of the video game Jumanji is about to change. The only question is when.
It seems to sense that the Jumanji movies, which are among the most popular Hollywood blockbusters, would get a sequel to a sequel.
Dwayne Johnson and the rest of the cast’s 2017 film “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” brought in more than $800 M globally.
The sequel, “Jumanji: The Next Level,” was released two years after the first movie due to its popularity.
If you include the fantasy film from 1995, there are presently three Jumanji movies.
But this piece will focus on the Dwayne Johnson movie franchise.
We’ll keep calling the impending sequel Jumanji 3 as director Jake Kasdan uses that term himself.
When Does ‘Jumanji 3’ Come Out?
We anticipate the third movie will come out in the same month as the previous two, which were released in December.
The movies “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” and “Jumanji: The Next Level” was released on December 20, 2017, and December 13, respectively.
This tendency led us to predict that the third movie will also be released in December 2022.
However, a 2022 release date is somewhat optimistic since the movie was still in its very early production phases as of April last year.
In April 2022, Kasdan told Collider, “We’re just beginning to speak about all of the stuff, and the fact is we’ve just begun [on the picture].”
Before the outbreak, the director said, they had only begun talking about the third one; they would “re-engage it as soon as everyone’s settled.”
Hiram Garcia, Dwayne Johnson’s producing partner, revealed in August 2021 through Collider that they are still working on the movie.
“That’s on the agenda as well! We’re committed to presenting that narrative in its most refined light, “added Garcia.
“Naturally, when you’re lucky enough to reunite a squad for the third time, you want to hit the ground running. It’s crucial for us to satisfy the fans’ expectations while also advancing the Jumanji tale. Therefore, we are digging deep and working closely with our authors, the film’s director Jake [Kasdan], and our partner in production on this, Matt [Tolmach].”
Producer Hiram Garcia said that after “Red One” production is over, they will begin shooting the second Jumanji in December.
Production on “Jumanji 3” has not yet begun as of June 2022.
We anticipate Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, Kevin Hart, and Jack Black to return for their respective game avatar roles since their performances in the movies contributed significantly to their popularity.
The previous two movies also included Alex Wolff, Madison Iseman, Ser’Darius Blain, and Morgan Turner as unfortunate characters, so it’s possible that they’ll return to sort out the mess that occurred after the second movie.
Along with Colin Hanks as Alex Vreeke, Nick Jonas and Awkwafina might make a comeback as the other Jumanji avatars, Jefferson “Seaplane” McDonough and Ming Fleetfoot.
In the second movie, Danny DeVito played Eddie, the grandpa of Spencer (Wolff), so we’re still open-minded about him making another appearance.
What Is the Story of “Jumanji 3” About?
Many of the plot’s specifics are still unclear since the movie is still in its early stages.
Based on the conclusion of “The Next Level,” we may be able to deduce certain things.
Like in 1995 original, the sequel concludes with the Jumanji video game world entering the real world.
Smolder Bravestone and the other explorers could also enter the actual world due to this. Will they be able to function independently in reality, or will Spencer and his pals have to intervene and revert to using them as their avatars?
We anticipate the latter. It would be amazing to watch Spencer and the other gamers work together with the avatars to find a solution.
Wolf is also highly interested in putting the Jumanji cast and avatars together in the real world.
“That had better occur. That would be incredible. I want that. Yes, I believe it would complete the cycle. Returning to the real world, “The Hollywood Reporter was informed by Wolff.
When Will the ‘Jumanji’ 3 Trailer Be Released?
The third movie’s anticipated release date is still unknown to us. Thus, we have no idea when the official trailer will be released.
The plot of Jumanji Season 3
The video game creatures defeated in the virtual jungle reappear in the real world in The Next Level. Will this result in more future appearances by Jurgen the Brutal? Even if it doesn’t, once Jumanji season 4 premieres, the massive movie will get a lot of attention.
In a post-credits scene from the most current “Jumanji” movie, dubbed “The Next Level,” video game creatures interacted with actual people. In the mid-credits set of Welcome to the Jungle, Spencer’s mother (Marin Hinkle) and an unscrupulous heater welder accidentally get drawn into the game, which lets out a number of the jungle’s inhabitants into the real world.
This element is intriguing because it suggests that animals may have left the game, which brings us to our last point. Although the story’s details are yet unclear, it is realistic to expect that Jumanji season 4 will adopt a new, original strategy based on the franchise’s well-established mythos.
