The 2022 ESPY Awards began on Wednesday night, honoring the year’s biggest, finest, and most inspirational sports figures and athletes.
In a star-studded event organized by Stephen Curry, the celebrities were feted at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles after their return.
On an uplifting and motivating night of celebration and appreciation, some of the biggest personalities in sports and entertainment came out to highlight the year’s greatest players and most remarkable experiences. There was no shortage of moving speeches and exuberant celebrations between the competitive categories and special honorary prizes.

Curry’s introductory speech, which was filled with digs at NBA teams and players, set the tone for the evening. Grant Williams was even given the opportunity to wear one of his rings because of his noble deed.
As it turned out, Steph Curry’s presence at The ESPYS as host was advantageous because the superstar took home a slew of prizes tonight in Hollywood, including the best NBA player award, the record-breaking performance for the most 3-pointers made in league history, and a team award for his Golden State Warriors.
