Garcia was born in Belleville, New Jersey on November 29, 1968, to Cuban parents. In addition to her parents, she has a brother and a sister. In 1992, Garcia graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in international marketing and finance.

A production firm called Seven Bucks Productions was created in 2012 by Dany Garcia and himself. Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017), and Shazam! (2019), as well as the Fast & Furious spin-off Hobbs & Shaw (2019), Jumanji: The Next Level (2019), Jungle Cruise (2021), and Black Adam (2019), were among the company’s box office successes (2022).

In May 2008, they broke up, but she still manages Rock and has a good relationship with him.

In 2014, Garcia married The Rock’s strength and conditioning instructor, Dave Rienzi. Rienzi, Garcia, Rock, and his current wife, Lauren Hashian, can be seen with each other on rare occasions.
