As of June 2022, MF Bunko J from the Media Factory collected the second year’s story into seven volumes and one short book. Shogo Kinugasa, who made the series, and Shunsaku Tomose drew the pictures. He is working on the 8th volume, which is set to come out on October 25, 2022. The light novel series is a continuum, meaning there is a lot of material for the anime to draw from.
Since the anime has stuck to the chapters of the light novel, season 3 will start with Mixed Training Camp. A new Special Test for ANHS students is more complicated. From the ending’s cliffhanger, Arisu Sakayanagi will be an essential character in the next season.
