After the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony’s ending, many television fanatics were disappointed as, once again, the American legal Drama Better Call Saul failed to win any award despite its multiple nominations.
However, amid an array of egregious award snubs in this year’s Emmy, Better Call Saul star Bob Odenkirk’s gracious thank you post caught everyone’s admiration.
Although Odenkirk didn’t win a single award, he took his official Twitter account to post a warm thank you message addressing everyone, who supported him and made this drama series a success.
Better Call Saul is a derivation from the popular crime series Breaking Bad, which debuted on AMC in 2015. The show also featured Rhea Seehorn, who portrayed the role of Kim Wexler, Saul’s ex-girlfriend.

Breaking Bad’s spin-off has been nominated 46 times in the Emmy Awards since its season one in 2016. Even after six years, no Emmy Award has not been won by this popular show, whereas Breaking Bad actor Bryan Cranston won several Emmys for portraying the character of Walter White in the show.
Despite the egregious snub in the Emmys, it is undeniable that Odenkirk’s presence is one of the major driving forces behind the massive success and popularity of the show.
While this particular storyline is mostly a two-hander for Jimmy and Kim, Odenkirk has many memorable moments in this episode, such as his first scene when he gives a pep talk to the actor impersonating the judge and the execution of the plan as Jimmy tries to juggle everything at once.
Viewers can feel the intensity of the sequence as there is a long handheld take in the middle of it, and it concludes with Jimmy running in business attire to deliver the photos to Howard’s private investigator.
There is also the final moment of the episode where Jimmy is speechless at seeing Lalo again after being informed of his death by Kim, and letting out a petrifying shriek watching Howard take a bullet to the head.
