Betaal Season 2 Release Date
On May 24, 2020, Season 1 of Betaal’s first season premiered on Netflix. Despite the fact that there are just four hour-long episodes in total, the show’s writer and co-director, Patrick Graham, has said that the plot was initially designed as a single, condensed series. But he said that given the mystery of the finish, the story might go on endlessly.
Contrary to popular belief, Betaal is a supernatural dystopian horror thriller, much like Graham’s earlier Ghoul film on Netflix. Additionally, Ghoul finished on a cliffhanger, indicating a potential continuation. Unfortunately, it didn’t get the go-ahead.
These two shows resemble Bollywood feature-length movies. Even while each episode of Betaal contributes to the same main plot, each one has its own unique flavor. In a nutshell, it has all it needs to evolve into a long-running series with several seasons. However, the show’s creators would be happy regardless of whether it was continued or not. Based on comments from viewers, Netflix can decide to order Betaal for a second season, with a 2023 launch date.
