She grew up with her mother, Patricia, and father, Gordon (a Ford Motor Company employee), as well as siblings Katherine, Cyndi, and Roger. Amy and Zachary both have achondroplasia, although Jeremy, Molly, and Jacob are of ordinary height. After 26 years of marriage, Amy and Matt announced in 2014 that they were attempting a trial separation, and in June 2015, they announced their divorce.
