Aboitiz Infracapital Starts Construction On A New Phase Of Commercial Lots In Lima CBD

The Aboitiz Group’s infrastructure business, Aboitiz InfraCapital (AIC), has begun constructing a new section of commercial properties within the 30-hectare LIMA CBD in Batangas.

Located within LIMA Estate, this new phase is the third and final commercial lot inventory release for LIMA CBD.

Commercial lots are currently being offered by AIC to investors who want to take advantage of the expected growth in the economy outside of Metro Manila.

Business process outsourcing firms and conventional offices, condominiums, dorms, hotels, schools, and hospitals can find suitable land in parcels ranging from 1,800 to 5,000 square meters.

Buyers of these retail spaces will integrate into Batangueos’ daily life, as the Central Business District (CBD) is already prospering there.

Several commercial components, including The Outlets at Lipa, LIMA Exchange, LIMA Park Hotel, and LIMA Transport Hub, are already established within the CBD, and LIMA Tower One, the first of a planned seven-tower office park in the heart of the CBD, is currently under construction and expected to be finished in early 2024.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, LIMA Land Inc. president and AIC Economic Estates head Rafael Fernandez de Mesa spoke about how the company sees LIMA CBD continuing to create high-value-added jobs outside of the National Capital Region and how LIMA Estate is home to 140 world-class companies and leaders in the industry, directly employing over 60,000 people.

Although its roots are in the manufacturing sector, LIMA Estate is rapidly expanding its role as a commercial hub in the province of Batangas. “Sales to third parties would further hasten the realization of AIC’s objective of an economic hub to rival the greatest in the country,” Fernandez de Mesa said, referring to the sale of commercial lots.

Fernandez de Mesa shared AIC’s vision of transforming LIMA Estate into an innovative, sustainable estate by introducing new product lines, intelligent city features, and sustainability initiatives to meet the needs of today’s upscale enterprises and to set a new benchmark for growth in provincial areas.

According to AIC, LIMA Estate is the first Industrial Estate and the largest project in the Philippines to receive the 5-Star BERDE Certification from the Philippine Green Building Council.
